How are you doing? No, really, how are you doing? When was the last time someone cared about how you felt?

All my interactions in this life have been surface-level affinity and affection. Outside of my Mom, I am still determining who wants me to succeed.

I am not in my 20s or 30s anymore, but I mentor and counsel young men who are, and I can tell you from experience that sometimes an encouraging word or letter is all it takes to make someone’s day a little bit better.

I am writing to you today to lend my support for your journey. I pray that you find the necessary encouragement and support to keep moving forward despite the hurdles, burdens, and obstacles in your way.

I understand you are under much stress and pressure to show up in this world. I know what it means to live without the correct balance or alignment our soul craves.

I recognize that life’s been uncomfortable for you over the past 5–10 years. It’s been that way for me as well. Nevertheless, I smile, write, give, think, act, work, and encourage others daily.
